Denver Modern Artistic Dental Office Design
We wanted this Dentist office lobby expansion to feel more like a lounge/coffee bar/WiFi work area, and living room instead of a Dr's waiting room. There are a variety of modular seating options including benches, a 12' banquette with cafe tables and ottomans, and 2 bar height work stations underneath a natural living plant wall and clerestory window. There are 3 separate seating and gathering areas that create a living room vibe for waiting, working or relaxing situated around an in-laid area rug. There's also a private consult/waiting room, and beverage/coffee bar to welcome all who walk in the door. The bright blue back-lit wall over the coffee station is an art installation I made from 750 tiny dental floss containers that I treated like "tiles", to add a pop of color over the beverage bar. The banquette is another seating/work space area for those to work on laptops while waiting on family members in the treatment rooms. The reception desk is fluid, curved, crisp and textured to create a feeling of flow. We added warm, colorful accessories, with lots of gray tones and walnut wood to make things warm, lively, inviting and fun. There's a lot of back painted glass to keep things clean and fresh. There is a large wall mural I had printed on wall covering material from a tiny image that I found from a torn down 1954 British billboard of a toothpaste ad. We used colorful, Mondrian designed 3Form walls for the admin office behind the desk and the walls to the private consult waiting room off the lobby
